Pure
Water Now! Every American should be thinking of enhancing
their tap water to a higher quality standard through higher levels of
contaminant removal.
Municipal treatment just doesn't remove many of the growing number
of chemical contaminants from our drinking water. It is up to you to
understand and realize that just because your water is
clear... and smells slightly of Chlorine, doesn't mean it is
as clean and pure as you would expect. Reverse Osmosis water
purification offers an energy efficient, higher quality water
from your existing tap water right at your sink.
Sure,
many have gone to bottled water but that is questionable too
depending on their treatment methods, water source, TDS levels
and method of sterilization used. The cost of bottled water
either delivered or store bought in those cute little bottles
is substantially higher than water produced from your own
private, personally maintained Home Reverse Osmosis Water
System.
Now
is the time to "Go Green" by eliminating fuel
use/greenhouse gases for delivery, reduce the 6 billion
"little bottles" that are clogging our landfills
every year by filling/reusing your own bottles at home! That's
our name... RO2Go
Reverse
Osmosis Systems
Reverse
Osmosis systems use a membrane technology to remove
unwanted minerals, some forms of bacteria, salts as well as
taste & odors from our water. Taste and odor removal is
done by the carbon filtration associated with pre-treatment to
Reverse Osmosis. Home reverse osmosis or RO systems typically
use the incoming water pressure to your home to work. Unlike
home distillers which must use electricity to purify
water.
The
Reverse Osmosis principal using a TFC (Thin Film Composite)
membrane squeezes water through a semi-permeable membrane that
has a pore size of .00001 This pore size catches and removes
95-98% of the minerals in water, 99%
of salt (sodium Chloride), 100% of asbestos, cysts, viruses and
pyrogens from your drinking water. These captured contaminants
are flushed to your drain as the pure water is stored in a
special delivery tank. A separate faucet is used to dispense
this water as needed. This is called P.O.U. or Point Of Use.
Reverse Osmosis systems are a perfect fit for homes with a
water softener. RO will remove 99% of the salt so you can
enjoy all the benefits from the softened water.
DIY
Water Systems
DIY
or Do It Yourself means that our reverse osmosis water systems
are easy to install! Any homeowner with some
"how-to" knowledge can install one of these systems
easily! All our water systems come with step-by-step
instructions on how to install.
Standard
Components & Shut-off valve
Unlike
"some" other systems on the market, RO2Go Reverse
Osmosis water systems use all standard components for
membrane, membrane housing, filter cartridges and housings and
water shut-off valve. Various competitors systems utilize
special housings that incorporate the membrane and filter
cartridges. These attach to a special distribution bracket
that also incorporates the water shut-off valve. These are proprietary
water systems and replacement parts cost typically more and
can only be purchased from that certain vendor/company.
Our
filter cartridges and housings can be purchased from most any
type of home hardware/improvement store. Although RO2Go offers
higher capacity/quality replacement cartridges than can be
purchased elsewhere!
WATER
NEWS!
"That
tap water is legal... but may be unhealthy!"
Only 91 contaminants are regulated by
the Safe Drinking Water Act, yet more than 60,000 chemicals
are used within the United States, according to Environmental
Protection Agency estimates. Government and independent
scientists have scrutinized thousands of those chemicals in
recent decades, and identified hundreds associated with a risk
of cancer and other diseases at small concentrations in
drinking water, according to an analysis of government records
by The New York Times.
But not one chemical has been added to
the list of those regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act
since 2000.

Rulings Restrict Clean Water Act,
Foiling E.P.A.
Companies that have spilled oil,
carcinogens and dangerous bacteria into lakes, rivers and
other waters are not being prosecuted, according to Environmental
Protection Agency regulators working on those cases, who
estimate that more than 1,500 major pollution investigations
have been discontinued or shelved in the last four years.

Millions in U.S. Drink Dirty
Water, Records Show
That law requires communities to deliver
safe tap water to local residents. But since 2004, the water
provided to more than 49 million people has contained illegal
concentrations of chemicals like arsenic or radioactive
substances like uranium, as well as dangerous bacteria often
found in sewage.

Pollution Grows With Little Fear
of Punishment
In the last five years alone,
chemical factories, manufacturing plants and other workplaces
have violated water pollution laws more than half a million
times. The violations range from failing to report emissions
to dumping toxins at concentrations regulators say might
contribute to cancer, birth defects and other illnesses.
